This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and how you can manage them.
Cookies are small text files placed by your browser on your device (computer, phone, tablet). They allow, among other things, device recognition, saving settings, analyzing website traffic, and tailoring content. Under EU and Polish law, the use of most cookies other than “essential” requires the user’s prior informed consent.
Essential (technical) – enable the operation of the service (e.g., login session, shopping cart). Do not require consent but must be clearly described.
Preference / functional – remember user settings (language, layout). Require consent.
Analytical / statistical – collect information on the use of the website (e.g., number of visits, most frequently visited pages). Require consent.
Marketing / advertising – used for profiling and personalized advertising. Require consent.
Essential cookies: necessity for service provision — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / ePrivacy (exception from consent requirement).
Analytical, marketing, functional cookies: processed on the basis of the user’s voluntary, informed consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). The controller stores proof of consent and enables its withdrawal at any time.
We use Google analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics GA4), which use cookies to collect information about website usage (session time, traffic sources, entry/exit pages).
Important to know:
Google Analytics processes data and may transfer it to Google servers (often outside the EU). In light of EU supervisory authorities’ concerns about transfers to the USA, additional safeguards are recommended (e.g., IP anonymization, Google Consent Mode, data processing agreements, transfer assessments).
To minimize risks: we enable IP anonymization (if available), configure Google Consent Mode, and limit data sharing with Google where possible. Nonetheless, the use of GA may still require legal and technical assessment.
Example GA cookies (to be completed after audit):
_ga — user identifier; storage: 2 years
_gid — session identifier; storage: 24 hours
_ga_<container-id> — stores user-related information; storage depends on configuration
On your first visit, we display a consent banner with options:
(a) accept all cookies,
(b) reject all except essential,
(c) select detailed (granular) preferences by category (e.g., Analytics, Marketing).
Consent is recorded and stored as proof. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” panel. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfulness before withdrawal.
If you do not consent to analytical cookies, the website remains available (basic functionality), unless technically necessary cookies are required.
Cookie retention depends on the specific cookie (session vs. persistent). Example:
_ga — 24 months
_gid — 24 hours
Data collected by cookies may be processed by third-party providers (e.g., Google). If transferred outside the EEA, the controller applies safeguards (e.g., SCCs, transfer impact assessments). In practice, EU regulators highlight risks with some third countries; consultation with a Data Protection Officer or legal advisor is recommended.
You have the right to: access your data, rectify, erase (right to be forgotten), restrict processing, data portability, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: President of the Personal Data Protection Office — UODO). To exercise your rights, contact the Administrator (see section 11).
We apply technical and organizational measures adequate to the risk (e.g., restricted access, encryption, processing agreements). However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
This policy may be updated (e.g., due to legal or technology changes). Last updated: 15.09.2025. Significant changes will be communicated via the website.
